Delightfully refurbished 3 bedroom apartment in the quaint village of Ferragudo within walking distance of the central main square and various long sandy sheltered beaches, set in a peaceful safe bay, ideal for young children. A great selection of bars and restaurants and a mini market are within 5 minutes walk. Larger supermarkets and shopping centres are only a short drive (or taxi ride) away.
River taxi available to cross over to neighbouring Portimão, the marina and Praia da Rocha.
This is an extremely well appointed 3 bedroom duplex apartment, located on a high point of Ferragudo, with views of the river and Monchique mountains.
Upon entry there is a hallway with bedrooms to the left and in front, a staircase to the lower lever (bedroom and bathroom), and to the right an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room comprising of:-
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle etc, and six seater dining table.
Lounge area with large cream sofa, 2 chairs, a plasma tv with cable channels (MEO with many english spoken channels) and Playstation, as well as a wonderful log burning stove – perfect for longer term Winter bookings (please see our dedicated Winter Special page). This leads on to a terrace with a table and 4 chairs, affording river and mountain views.
To the left of the entrance is the master bedroom, with a super king-sized bed (zip-link 2 x twin, if required), ample wardrobe space and a terrace looking on to the courtyard and historic derelict windmill that makes one think of how things were many years ago.
This bedroom shares the large communal main bathroom with double washbasins, toilet and a bath with glass shower screen.
Another double bedroom(normal size) is to the right of the bathroom.
Down the stairs, on the level below, we have a small hall with desk and sliding wardrobe with a concealed washing machine and drier. To the left, a shower room with wash basin and toilet. To the right, a large twin bedroom (can be zip-linked to a super king size) with a large sliding wardrobe.
N.B. This property is not suitable for young babies, given that there is no stair gate.
The whole apartment is finished to an impeccably high standard with air conditioning in lounge and bedrooms, offering an excellent opportunity for short holiday or a long term Winter break experiencing the wonderful climate and delights that the Algarve has to offer.
